presentation of Jackie: Cross the Line. In this production, actor Greg
Kenney will take you through the life of Jackie Robinson, from his humble
beginnings in Pasadena, CA, to being the first to open doors for African
Americans in Major League Baseball.
Enjoy a visit from Spikes, the
Red Wings' mascot and spin the Library's Prize Wheel for door prizes.
Mr. Kenney will also present Jackie: Cross the Line at the Winton
Branch Library on Saturday, May 4 from 1 to 2 p.m. and at the Lincoln
Branch Library on Monday, May 6 from 3 to 4 p.m.
