(Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015) The City of Rochester Hispanic Heritage Committee is proud to announce a new addition to the slate of activities celebrating this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month. The public is invited to take part in the inaugural Latino Golf Tournament, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at Braemar Country Club, 4704 W. Ridge Road, Spencerport.

“I am proud to support the work of the City’s Hispanic Heritage Committee and their efforts to celebrate and highlight the proud heritage of Rochester’s Latino community, past, present and future,” said Mayor Lovely A. Warren. “The Latino Golf Tournament will be a wonderful addition to Hispanic Heritage Month.”

Golf tournament participants can enjoy an 18-hole round of golf, a chipping clinic, cart service, lunch, a steak dinner, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. The cost is $89.99 for a single player or $349.99 for a round of four players.
Proceeds will benefit a Latino Scholarship Fund and Hispanic Heritage Month events.

Hispanic Heritage Month takes place from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, 2015.
