(Monday, Oct. 23, 2017) – The City of Rochester Public Market will host its second annual Halloween at the Market event for families on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at 280 North Union St. This free trick-or-treat and dress-up opportunity is also a community organization fair. Approximately 70 community organizations will be set up in the outdoor, covered vendor sheds dispensing treats as well as valuable information about their programs and services for families. The event is sponsored by MVP Health Care.

In addition, Halloween at the Market features free hayrides, the Rec on the Move Mobile Recreation Center, the Rochester Fire Department’s Fire Safety House and food vendors.
Halloween at the Market will be held rain or shine. Carpooling is encouraged to ease traffic and parking on and around the Market during the event.

Halloween at the Market is one of 50 free-admission special events offered at the Public Market each year, in addition to year-round regular Market shopping days: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
