Police Dispatchers at the Emergency Communications Department control and manage the community law enforcement resources available for emergency incidents. Dispatchers are aware of the current availability of various personnel/units at City, Town and Sheriff emergency law enforcement response systems. By receiving and relaying information gathered by the 911 Telecommunicator, Police Dispatchers link the citizen caller to the police.
