Celebrating Black History
The City of Rochester's Black Heritage Committee honors Black History Month with a series of events that celebrate the cultural, historical, and social contributions of the African American community.
Activities range from gospel concerts to jazz performances and a keynote address including the annual Black Heritage Gala. The events, held at various venues, are designed to foster inclusivity, reflection, and celebration of Black heritage.
