The Anthony Mascioli Gallery is inside Hacker Hall on the first floor of the beautiful and historic Rundel Memorial Building, opened in 1936. The space used for the gallery originally housed the massive card catalogs for the library. Today, this space hosts art shows and educational and cultural exhibits.
The gallery is open whenever the Central Library is open.
Art of the Book & Paper

The Art of the Book exhibit began in 2011 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Rochester Public Library. In the years since, it has grown to include entries from all over the world. In 2021, the category of Paper Sculpture was added, and the name was changed to Art of the Book & Paper.
The 13th Annual Juried International Art of the Book & Paper exhibit will be on display this year from August 20-November 30, 2024.
Please join us for the Reception on Wednesday, September 18, from 5:30-7:00 pm. Award ceremony at 6:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
