Rochester Animal Services will host a fee-waived, Halloween-themed Bark or Treat adoption event from 12 noon to 3:30 p.m., or until all featured dogs have been adopted, Sunday, Oct. 27 at Brown Square Park, 251 Verona St.

Bark or Treat is a fun-filled experience that features delicious treats, great vendors, and an opportunity to help the four-legged friends of Rochester Animal Services find their fur-ever homes. Attendees can visit 10 to 16 lovable dogs in the Play Yard for petting, playing, and adopting.

“We are so thrilled about this event celebrating our adoptable dogs, our community’s support, and the Halloween season!” said Staci Papadoplos, Rochester Animal Services Director. “We’re extremely grateful for our generous sponsors and vendors who are making Bark or Treat possible, as we hope to find new homes for all of our well-deserving and lovable dogs.”

Attendees should bring a leash or collars to safely transport their new pet home.
