RFP – Public Safety Building Lobby Floor Replacement

Project No. 25018

Description

The Public Safety Building (PSB), built in 2002, has a slate tile lobby floor that has deteriorated from salt brought in from foot traffic. The floor tiles in the main paths of travel are pitted and have delaminated, causing the floor to be uneven. Deterioration is expected to continue and cause safety issues.  Due to the building being a 24/7 facility and the floor in a highly trafficked area, coordination and phasing plans will be essential.

The project scope will include investigations, design, bid and construction administration services for replacement of existing floor tile in the main entrance lobby and second floor lobby levels.

The RFP includes a draft scope of services, proposal requirements, M/WBE participation, and City provisions.
