Boating Opportunities

The City of Rochester is uniquely situated alongside several notable bodies of water: Genesee River, Erie Canal, Lake Ontario. There are several beautiful and accessible places in the city where you can put in or dock your human-powered, wind-powered, and motorized vessels. Check out the interactive map here:

Additional boating options

Corn Hill Waterfront and Navigation Foundation: Rochester’s only non-profit offering boat tours of the Erie Canal and the Genesee River. Visit their website for more information.
