Durand Eastman Beach

Durand Eastman Beach on Lake Ontario is part of Durand Eastman Park. The beach boasts 5,000 feet of Lake Ontario waterfront; the park also features steep wooded slopes, valleys, scenic vistas, small lakes, spring flowering trees and fantastic fall foliage. 

Swimming is only permitted in designated area (Lot A)which is supervised by beach lifeguards. Durand Beach is open for swimming, 12 noon to 6 p.m., seven days a week in the summer from June 24, 2024-September 2, 2024. During Cool Sweeps/Heat Emergencies, the Beach will open from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. For daily beach conditions, call the Monroe County Beach Information Line at (585) 753-5887.
