City of Rochester to host ‘Brunch & Brainpower’ vision board event for youth

The City of Rochester invites youth to join the RISE Team and Ryan R-Center staff for a special event combining creativity, conversation, and nourishment. The Brunch & Brainpower event will take place on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ryan R-Center, 530 Webster Ave.

This unique event offers participants a welcoming space to enjoy a delicious meal while engaging in meaningful conversation. Attendees will have the opportunity to create personalized vision boards, visualizing their dreams, goals, and aspirations.

“The Brunch & Brainpower event is about more than just food and creativity—it’s about empowering our youth to set goals and dream big,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans. “Through programs like this, the City of Rochester is fostering self-expression, personal growth, and community connections that can shape a brighter future for our young people.”

The vision board activity is designed to encourage self-expression, goal-setting, and personal development. It’s the perfect blend of nourishment for the body, mind, and spirit.
