Vendors sought for Black Business Expo

The City of Rochester Public Market and the Friends of the Rochester Public Market are celebrating Black Business Month by hosting a Black Business Expo, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Market, 280 N. Union St. BIPOC-owned (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) businesses are invited to highlight their products and services and sign up to participate as vendors.

The Black Business Expo presents a valuable opportunity for both new and established business owners to gain exposure, network with other business leaders, and engage with the vibrant community at the City of Rochester Public Market. A portion of the market will be reserved to host the Expo; there will be signage directing customers to the event. The fee to participate in the Expo as a vendor is $30, which helps support programs organized by the Friends of the Rochester Public Market.

The City of Rochester Public Market, a historic and iconic venue known for fostering entrepreneurship and community, offers a diverse range of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and cultural experiences. Open year-round on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the Market attracts more than 2.5 million visitors throughout the year.
