Water Main Break on Reynolds Street to Cause Closure of Dr. Charles T. Lunsford School No. 19 and Willie Walker Lightfoot R- Center

A water main break has occurred at 317 Reynolds St. that is impacting water service to School No. 19 and approximately 30 adjacent properties. The City is currently notifying the Rochester City School District, who will likely cancel classes at this school for the day. The Willie Walker Lightfoot R-Center, 271 Flint St. will also be closed for the day.

Reynolds Street, between Flint Street and Seward Street, will be closed to traffic in both directions while repairs are being made.

Repairs are expected to be completed by the end of the day.
