The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (also known as HR 218) permits the nationwide carrying of concealed handguns by qualified current and retired law enforcement officers. The entire length of Waring Road was reconstructed from the Culver Road/Woodman Park intersection on the southern end to the Norton Street intersection on the northern end. This project is complete.
The Drug Hotline was established to solicit information on known and unknown drug locations and dealers in the City of Rochester.
The information received is then forwarded to the Narcotics Unit for follow-up investigations. Callers are allowed to remain anonymous or give their name and telephone number so that the investigator can contact them if needed or desired.
