The City of Houston, TX released a short video depicting a fictional shooting incident at an office building. Entitled "Run-Hide-Fight, Surviving an Active Shooter Event," the video guides if you should ever find yourself in an unthinkable scenario: If a crazed gunman ever opened fire at your workplace. An office building is the most likely locale for a mass shooting, but these tips can also be used in other public forums as well.

This Commission is responsible for administrating the Civil Service Law. It prescribes rules and implements them by classifying employment positions, developing and administering Civil Service examinations, establishing a list of eligible job applicants, and hearing appeals. No more than three Commissioners shall be members of the same political party.

The West River Wall is located along the west side of the Genesee River adjacent to Exchange Boulevard, directly east of the Corn Hill Neighborhood within the Center City Downtown District. The site extends from Corn Hill Landing south to the Ford Street Bridge in the City of Rochester. The length of the wall is approximately 2,200 feet. This section of wall was previously characterized by a crumbing concrete flood control wall, overgrown vegetation, trail deficiencies and lack of public access to the River and its view sheds.
