Weaver Street Rehabilitation

Project Description

 
The Weaver Street Rehabilitation project includes Weaver Street from Remington Street to Joseph Avenue and Joseph Avenue to Hudson Avenue. This project includes pavement milling and resurfacing with spot pavement base repair, new granite curbs with underdrain, spot sidewalk replacement, curb ramp upgrades, new driveway aprons, pavement markings, signage and adjustment and/or repairs of manholes, receiving basins, and water valve castings and the installation of pedestrian level LED street lighting. Minor utility impacts and some tree plantings and/or removals are anticipated. These improvements are designed to preserve and expand the useful life of the pavement structure, improves surface drainage, roadway riding quality, ADA accessibility and serviceability. The installation of speed humps along Weaver Street and Weyl Street (Joseph Avenue to Hudson Avenue) will be evaluated during final design. 

The project is funded with City and County funds.
