The Zoning Board of Appeals is a 7-seven-member citizen board that hears requests for Variances to the City’s Zoning Code and Administrative Appeals for decisions made by the Manager of Zoning.

Membership
Zoning Board members are selected by the Mayor, confirmed by the City Council, and serve without pay or compensation. Members must be City residents and serve for terms of 2 years and may serve without limit to the number of terms. The Board must include at least 1 member residing in each City Council district.
