2024 Water Main Lining and Lead Service Replacement Project Public Meeting

This project involves replacing existing lead, lead lined, and galvanized water services from the water main to the curb shut off valve and curb shut off valve to water meter with new polyethylene water tubing. If your water service (main to curb stop) is composed of copper or polyethylene no water service replacement will be performed at your residence. This project will also rehabilitate existing water mains by removing hard corrosion deposits from the interior of the main and applying a thin layer of cement mortar lining to prevent deposits from reforming. Temporary water pipes will supply water to customers during construction. The work includes surface restoration of disturbed areas.
