Mayor Evans announces 2025 Party in the Park lineup

Mayor Malik Evans today announced that the Party in the Park concert series will return to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Thursday, July 10. Celebrating 28 yearsthe Party in the Park concert series kicks off with headliner Seven Wonders and opening act Highway Boys, a Zac Bryan tribute band. 

“Party in the Park has proven to be a community favorite for 28 years and counting,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans. “There is something for everyone and everyone is welcome. So, I invite the entire community to come Downtown and enjoy the world-class entertainment that has put this event front and center as an example of our longstanding love for music and community.” 

“Music brings people together, and you can’t get any better than this—two amazing acts all in one night each week for only $7,” said series promoter Jeff Springut, CEO of RochesterEvents.com. “All in amazing Downtown Rochester, the heartbeat of the city. We’re ready for a summer full of great music, food and beverage, all bringing friends together!”

Party in the Park kicks off on Thursday, July 10 at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 353 Court St., and continues every Thursday through Aug. 14. Gates open at 5 p.m. and performances begin at 6:30 p.m. 

General admission for Party in the Park is $7; children 12 and under are free. VIP Ultra Lounge tickets, offering premium seating with private restrooms, a full cash bar, table service, complimentary chair massages and more are available for $35. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at www.RochesterEvents.com, in-person at the Auditorium Theater, 885 E. Main St., or at the gate. All closing acts are ASL interpreted.

This year’s full Party in the Park concert series lineup includes:

  • July 10: Seven Wonders; Highway Boys – a Zach Bryan tribute band
  • July 17: Cruel Summer - a Taylor Swift live band tribute; BB Dang
  • July 25: Melvin Seals and JGB; Dogs in a Pile
  • July 31: Ripe; Badfish - a tribute to Sublime
  • Aug. 7: Andy Frasco and the Un; Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs
  • Aug. 14: Eddie 9volt; with special guests TBA  

The Craft Beer Garden will be on hand, showcasing New York State’s best IPAs, ciders, and stouts, and wine lovers can stop at the Wine Time Bar for their popular wine slushies and other wine options. Happy hour specials will be offered from 5–7:30 p.m.

Patrons are allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water into the concert space. Lawn chairs, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, and pets are prohibited, and a strict no-smoking policy will be enforced.

Parking is available at the Washington Square Garage, 111 Woodbury Blvd., the Court Street Garage, 194 Court St., the East End Garage, 475 E. Main St., and The Strong Museum, 1 Manhattan Square. Metered on-street street parking is free after 6 p.m. on concert nights.
