2024 Undoing Racism Workshop
Join senior City leadership in this powerful, humanistic process to explore how we have been conditioned to think about race and racism, and to identify ways that leaders can and should be working to undo racism across our city.
The workshop will be led by The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond, and attendance is required by all City leaders who receive this invitation.
Frederick Douglass HBCU Football Classic 2024
Baldwin Richardson Foods presents the Frederick Douglass HBCU Football Classic – Weekend of Hope on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The game is designed to strengthen the partnership between law enforcement and the Rochester community, and offers fun for all ages.
Civil Service Commission Meeting: December 19, 2024
This five-member commission is responsible for the administration of the Civil Service Law, and prescribes rules and implements them by classifying employment positions, establishing list of eligible job applicants and hearing appeals.
The Commission meets on a monthly basis.
