RFP: EPA Certified Training Services

The City of Rochester is seeking proposals from an EPA-certified training firm to provide training services for contractors and property owners to support the City’s Lead Hazard Control Program. 

The City's Lead Hazard Control Program aims to decrease the occurrence of child lead poisoning by establishing lead-safe housing.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is designed to streamline the assessment and selection of a consultant who can most effectively fulfill the City's objectives.

The City is seeking the services of a Consultant to provide training courses to implement the Project. The proposal shall address each requested service using the same identifying language, including any paragraph or section numbers or letters as used in the RFP. The following training courses are required:

  • EPA Lead Renovator
  • EPA Lead Abatement Worker Initial
  • PA Lead Abatement Supervisor Initial
  • EPA Lead Abatement Worker Refresher
  • EPA Lead Abatement Supervisor Refresher

Submission/Deadline

Proposals must be e-mailed to Johanna.Santiago@cityofrochester.gov by 5:00 pm July 25, 2024.

Inquiries

Inquiries regarding the submission of the proposal, the status of the proposal selection process, and any other related questions concerning this RFP shall be sent in writing to Conrad Floss.

No contact is permitted with any other City staff member with regard to this RFP during the process unless specifically authorized in writing. Prohibited contact may be grounds for disqualification.
