R-Center Boxing Club athletes ranked No. 1 in the nation
Two Trenton and Pamela Jackson R-Center Boxing Club athletes are ranked No. 1 in the nation!
Five R-Center boxers, including Golden Gloves champ Algeria Johnson, recently traveled to Richmond, Virginia to compete in the USA Boxing National Tournament.
Two local athletes, Javier Mitchell and Dustin Jimenez, brought home the championship title in their respective weight divisions, and will have a chance to compete in the 2028 Olympics. Watch the videos below to hear from Mitchell and Jiminez.

Trenton and Pamela Jackson R-Center Boxing Club makes an impact on Rochester's Youth & Young Adults
Algeria Johnson made history as a Golden Gloves titleholder in her boxing weight class and the first woman from Rochester to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Team Trials. Fellow fighter Angie Miles, 24, also placed in her weight class, ranking her third in the nation.
