RFP: East Main Street and Laura Street Parcels

The City of Rochester (“City”), through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) solicitation, seeks a qualified developer/team of developers (“Developer”) to purchase and creatively improve up to twelve parcels on East Main Street and Laura Street (the “Site”) in Rochester, NY. It is the City’s intention to receive development proposals that will lead to the sale of the Site to a Developer who presents the best use and plan/layout of such use, and demonstrates the best financial capacity to undertake the proposed project within a reasonable time.

Language Access Plan

The city of Rochester, New York, with an estimated population of 209,352, is a diverse community located in Western New York. Whether they are first-generation immigrants or descendants of immigrants, many in the Rochester community speak a wide variety of languages, and many speak little or no English.

Park Planning (Edgerton Park, Lightfoot R-Center, La Grange Park) Final Design Presentation Public Meeting

The City is conducting master planning services for three City-owned properties containing parkland and recreational facilities. The sites have future planned physical improvements, and the work at each site will be guided by a master plan. The final designs focus on enhancing the usability, functionality, safety and accessibility of the three parks for all users. Schematic designs were presented to the public in May 2024, and public comments have been incorporated into each project where practicable.
