This project includes converting the existing City of Rochester Training and Safety facility into the Maplewood Nature Center, construction of a new playground adjacent to the nature center, installation of two open-air park shelters, and associated site work.

The City milled off approximately 1.5 inches of the top surface asphalt, and paved a new asphalt top surface. Minimal adjustments were made to the pavement elevation as necessary to improve drainage.
