The Rochester Police Department (RPD) is a police agency staffed by sworn uniformed and non-sworn civilian professionals committed to protecting the public and reducing crime in the City of Rochester, NY, and is proudly Accredited by the New York State Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (NYSLEAP).
The RPD will deliver effective and responsive law enforcement services fairly and equitably to all citizens in the City of Rochester.
