Located off Winton Road North, Tryon Park is an athletic destination in the city's northeast quadrant. Numerous fields attract Little League and softball teams and basketball, tennis courts and play apparatus are widely used by neighbors.  

Tryon Park is managed by Monroe County Parks.

Liberty Pole Plaza is home to a landmark feature in downtown Rochester, the Liberty Pole. Designed and built in the 1960s by famed architect James Johnson, the 190-foot tall steel pole is a place to gather, celebrate, and protest. 


 

Located on the banks of the Genesee River in the southwest section of downtown, Corn Hill Landing is a fantastic scenic recreational area with something for everyone. It is nestled in the heart of Corn Hill, one of Rochester's most historically rich neighborhoods.

Aberdeen Square, located in the 19th Ward neighborhood, is a large grassy open space commonly used as a field for soccer or football, and a gathering spot for neighborhood and local school activities. It's also the venue for the annual Aberdeen Square Fair.
