Project Management Office
The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the centralized and coordinated management of all Department of Information Technology projects, delivering enterprise-scale projects on-time and within budget.
This includes:
Working with senior management to ensure that projects are classified, prioritized and selected to align with City strategy and goals.
Assisting the City departments to define requirements for IT projects and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
Actively executing IT projects to increase project efficiencies and accuracy.
Monitoring project progress and dependencies that affect resources, budgets, and schedules.
Standardizing project management methods and processes.
