Crime prevention helps Rochester's citizen and visitors conduct their daily activities without fear of becoming victims of crime. Our Crime Prevention programs seek to accomplish that goal through a variety of methods. These include Do the Right Thing, which recognizes children who are setting positive examples in their community; PAC-TAC (Police and Citizens-Together Against Crime), which offers citizens a chance to work directly with Rochester Police Officers to patrol their neighborhoods; and tip sheets that help readers reduce their chances of becoming the target of criminals.
