City Council Committee Meetings - Day 2

City Council Committees meet over the course of two days, generally on the 2^nd Wednesday and Thursday of each month. The primary function of these committees is to review all proposed legislation and to recommend adoption, consideration, or rejection by the entire Council, either as written or with amendments.  During these meetings, the Council will sometimes hear presentations from the Administration and/or outside entities and stakeholders on various topics impacting the community.

The Committee agendas, as well as the proposed legislation currently under consideration by the Council, are posted online prior to the meetings.

City Council committees are scheduled to meet as follows on Day 2 of the meetings:

• Budget, Finance & Governance (Mitch Gruber - chair) - 4:00 p.m.  
• Public Safety (Willie Lightfoot - chair) – 4:30 p.m. 

When necessary, the Committee of the Whole will convene to review legislation that falls within its purview.  The Committee of the Whole will meet on Day 2 of the schedule when required. 

The meetings are open to the public.  An ASL Interpreter will be provided.
