The East End Garage is in the East side of downtown Rochester next to the Eastman School of Music and Java's Coffee. It's walking distance from Rochester Contemporary Art Center, Spot Coffee, WHEC, The Little Theater, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park (formerly Manhattan Square Park) and much more.
The City Council holds public hearings as required for specific legislative items on the agenda, as well as a monthly Speak to Council session. These meetings are open to the public to allow an opportunity for constituents to voice their opinions, ideas, concerns or support for either legislation that the Council will be voting on that month, or any other issues that may be affecting the community.

The City Council holds confirmation hearings for individuals appointed to specific job titles and positions by the Mayor or the City Council.
On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the City Council will hold a confirmation hearing for Lesli Myers-Small, who has recently been appointed to the position of Executive Director, Police Accountability Board (PAB).
The confirmation hearing is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m., or immediately following the conclusion of the Council Committee Meetings.
