City of Rochester celebrates College Sweatshirt Day
This Friday, January 17, we’re asking City of Rochester employees to support the next generation of leaders by participating in College Sweatshirt Day!
We’re proud to partner with the Rochester City School District and the Rochester Education Fund to encourage high school students to explore and pursue higher education. By wearing a college sweatshirt, you’ll help spark conversations about college experiences and inspire students to envision their own futures in higher education.
Here’s how you can participate:
- On Friday, Jan. 17, wear a college sweatshirt, whether it represents your alma mater or a school you admire.
- Start a conversation: If you interact with students or colleagues, share stories about your college journey or why you chose your sweatshirt.
- If you make a post or story on Instagram, use the hashtag #RocCollegeSweatshirt and tag the City account (@cityofrochesterny)
